What type makeup do you use? Do you airbrush?

We use all different products from MAC, Nars, Benefit Cosmetics as well as our own Pink Palette lips line as well.

Airbrush? All Pink Palette Artists uses a silicone based airbrush foundation that lightly rests on the surface of your skin, leaving you without the feeling of a heavy, suffocating foundation.

How long does the makeup last?

The airbrush foundation is set to last 16-18 hours even through heat and tears.

How do I purchase touch-up makeup?

Depending on product inventory, most Pink Palette Artists carry additional lip products for you to purchase. Custom colors could be ordered ahead of time. Just make sure to ask your head artist or inquire prior to your wedding day.

Do you offer tattoo/scar cover-ups? How much does it cost?

Yes, we do. Send us a picture of the tattoo/scar and we can send you quote.

HOW WE STAFF FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY

How do I know who the artist/stylist will be the day of?

Artists and stylist are booked on availability. If you have a special request just make sure to let us know.

How many artists come on location the day of the wedding?

For parties of 7 or more, a 2nd hair stylist and/or 2nd makeup artist can be provided depending on our availability for the date. Additional rates may apply.

How long does each session/person take?

Hair/Makeup is usually done at the same time, therefore we could have each person with makeup and hair done in just about 45min – 1 hour.

THE TRIAL RUN

How and when do I book a Trial Run?

Whenever you are ready and have an idea of what look you are going for on your wedding day.

What do I bring to my trial?

It is always good to bring 2 pictures of hair and 2 pictures of makeup looks that you like.

What days can I book the trials/engagement shoots/bridal shoots?

Tuesdays through Fridays - depending on availability - are our trial and shoot days. Although, we do understand that there are strict schedules and urgencies, just let us know so that we can try to work with you.

Can I use my trial session for bridals and/or engagement sessions?

Of course, trials and all shoots are the same price. Just make sure you bring your veil/hair pieces.

BOOKING AND PAYMENTS

How early in advance do I book for hair and makeup?

Anywhere from 3-12 months in advance is when most brides book us. Although, we do have many last minute bookings as well, just contact us and inquire about availability.

Are there any travel fees?

In order to help your artist/stylist with gas, mileage and toll – travel fees are additional and will depend on your pampering location. When inquiring, please include where your pampering location so we can estimate your travel fees.

Ready to book?

Step 1. Please let us know if you are ready to move forward with booking the event date.

Step 2. We will then send you your own client portal with the proposal and contract terms and you could sign directly in the portal.

Step 3. Complete your deposit to secure your booking.

Please keep in mind your artists/stylists are not booked and guaranteed until the contract and deposit have been submitted.

How to pay the deposit?

Below are a few methods of payments:

  1. Credit card or Client Portal payment method - (there will be a convenience fee of $20). The fee is added directly in the portal so if you would like to pay via portal, you could just go to invoices tab in your portal.

  2. Zelle/QuickPay

  3. Venmo

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept cash and Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. Please let us know if you would like to pay the remaining balance with CC. Credit cards used for the balance must be called into PPA 10 days prior to the wedding day. Please also keep in mind there will be a $20.00 convenience charge for each credit card transaction.

When do I pay the remaining balance?

The remaining balance is due prior or on the day of the event.
